Advice Issued For: Telangatuk, Telangatuk East Fire Origin: 18KM SOUTH WEST OF DADSWELLS BRIDGE Incident Name: GRAMPIANS - NORTHERN GRAMPIANS Issued: 17/01/14 11:47 AM This Advice message is being issued by Department of Environment and Primary Industries for Telangatuk, Telangatuk East. There is a fast moving, out of control bushfire traveling in a south westerly direction near Brimpaen this fire is expected to cross the Henty Highway and may impact on the Black Range state park. There is currently no threat to you, but you should plan for what you will do if the situation changes. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 17/01/14 4:00 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions. If you are experiencing smoke exposure, seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024. Stay Informed: Via cfa.vic.gov.au. Tune to ABC Local Radio, commercial and designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV. Call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line (VBIL) on freecall 1800 240 667.
