Advice Please! Repost from Anonymous I am 18 weeks pregnant and yesterday my Dr called me and told me my quad screening came back abnormal and would like further testing done as baby may have downsyndrom. He mentioned they would stick a needle in my abdomen and get babies chromosomes to test. I have heard that there is an ultrasound that they can do that sees different things than a regular one and can see that way too if baby has downs... my question is what do I do? Talk to my Dr about the ultrasound or do the needle in the abdomen like he said? Im scared either way. Nothing is going to change how we feel about the baby but we just want to know ahead of time so we can prepare and tell family also. Help!
