Advice Post: Hey everyone! I have a 19 month old son, when I was pregnant with him circumstances were different and I wasnt entitled to the maternity grant. Im now 18 weeks pregnant, my midwife said Im entitled to it this time round as Im now on income support and other benefits. Is this right. They say you can get it in one pregnancy doesnt matter whether its your first or second as long as its the first maternity grant your getting? Surely my midwife knows what shes talking about... anyone else had maternity grant for there child that wasnt there first because they didnt get it in the first place xx
