Advice needed! I adopted a Rainbow Lorikeet 2-3 months ago. She was a little aggressive at first as she settled into her new home. Then after 2 weeks she warmed up real quick. She would eat from my hand, enjoyed bath time, play games, and loved to perch on my shoulder and play with my hair. Then last week, she completely freaked out and attacked me while she was just sitting on my shoulder. Bit me multiple times on my face and drew blood. I had just finished cleaning her cage, which Ive done many times already with no incident. Has this happened to anyone else? For the last few days she has been trying to bite as I reach in her cage to feed her. She doesnt seem to let up on her new found anger. It saddens me bc she and I quickly bonded and now I cannot even handle her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
