Advice on Keeping Your Marriage blossoming ....The Wife...... Ephesians 5:22-33 #4 and #5 #4 Tithing and #5 Looking forward to His Return. Tithing. The old adage mine is mine and yours is ours is not applicable in marriage The act of tithing and Offering is a way for the church to acknowledge that whatever they have belongs to the Lord. By Tithing we are also acknowledging that God is a shareholder of our finances . We cant pay him back coz wed have to give everything but in the small %age we give him its an appreciation for what he is doing and what he has done and will continue to do. God even challenges Us to test him on this one thing Most of us wives Love to be given to be pampered and to be spoilt for choice But we easily forget our Men when it comes to Pampering them and showing them we are one and we are thinking of them with the little or much we have. There is a wise saying that if you love somebody you will invest in them. It is wise for wives to invest in your their husband. When you go shopping for yourself , Dont just shop for yourself and the kids Remember the one you love . Listen to his needs Most of our husbands are poor at remembering themselves. But youll hear them mumble about what they wish they have. Be creative if you do not have cash. Believe me you wont get killed if you start saving up the little till your able to buy that one thing for your hubby. Go an extra mile set the pace in your marriage. #5 Looking forward to Jesus Return. The church Patiently awaits for the Return of our Messiah . How does the church do it. 1. Obeying what The Lord told us to do ,Preach, Pray for his return, Having The Lords Table 2.By constantly keeping ourselves pure and in check by remaining under the cleansing blood of the lamb 3.By looking forward in anticipation of His return If youre not faithful you really wouldnt look forward for your husbands return. All of us know our family constitution by that I dont mean laws but expectation of each of us the first step of awaiting for him is to as much as it depends on you do your end satisfactorily Keeping Yourself prepared Physically ...I expect all reading this are aware of the basics Here bathing, beauty regimen... Remember it doesnt matter if youre pregnant like me, nursing ,Married over 40 years your still his girl. Never give up on working on yourself to be that radiant bride it doesnt matter how far down you think you are in marriage or how many babies later. Text your husband call him let him know you long to be with him even if he is in the next office. Put a smile on your face as you do it. These little things can rise up a sleeping lion to roar and protect his pride (read loved ones) We are meant to be helpers these are not acts of slavery but out of Love. These things are hard to do if you dont do them out of love. Your husband wont even respond if you do them out of obligation or a test drive A heart full of Love Is Hard to hide.
