Advise to Mr President!!! Mr President, Your Excellency Dr Ernest Bai Koroma, as my President I am advising you to cancel the lock-down agenda being proposed by some of the corrupt men and women that you may not be aware of. The entire world is watching every step that your administration is taking in resolving the Ebola Catastrophe. As an APC stalwart and a proud contributor to the partys gains, it is my duty to advise you to rethink this lock-down decision and cancel it with immediate effect. The experts have advised that this lock-down will be counter productive. News outlet across the world have been very critical of this flawed lock-down idea. Sierra Leoneans in the country and across the world are also against the lock-down, except few of the corrupt individuals and their proxies that want to squander funds in the name of going house to house to educate people about EBOLA and searching for patients. This is a bogus idea Sir and the primary aim is to secure Billions from the Ebola fund. The cost of this exercise amounts to Billions and I believe a prudent way of spending such money is on Building Hospitals across the country and providing resources to private clinics and hospitals that remained closed because of fear, and the lack of medical resources. Your Excellency, these corrupt men and women that are very closed to you are not doing you a service. I am very hopeful that you will used you wisdom and executive power to weed these people out because they have once again put your administration in the limelight of international critique, as not being serious and sensible in taking decisions. Dont lock-down that country. I implore you to take the necessary steps to reverse this lock down. Our focus Sir should be on postulating sustainable ways in solving the Ebola Wahala We cannot solve this Ebola problem in Tents. Time is going. Everyday counts. Used the resources to construct more health facilities across the country. There is hardship in that country. The people are hurting. The areas that are locked and quarantined have limited access to food. It is time to return the country to the normal state of affair where everybody goes about his or her normal business and the duty of the authorities is to support sound health practices in our communities, the office space, schools, universities, markets etc. We cannot afford to halt activities under the emergency.That is why emergency exist which enables you and your administration to take extra ordinary measures best in the preservation of public safety and order. Relevant Measures can still be taken whilst people are going about their normal business. Your Excellency, A state of Emergency is not meant to create a standstill, it is only a legal avenue that enables government to take extra-ordinary measures that would otherwise be unlawful if there was none.Also, There must be a causation. There is already hunger in many part of the country. WHO or WFP is not the answer to these problems. If people can resume their normal business we can mitigate potential food hardship and we can still have the economy moving. Provide resources for all schools (Public and Private) so that they can practice healthy living. Health Authorities should be detailed in schools to do testing for example. Listen to the voice of Wisdom Mr President and not those corrupt and incompetent individuals whose motive is to divert funds. Thank you Sir and I look forward to seeing action.
