Aerial rigging workshop : This course is primarily aimed at harness aerial artists who work against surfaces such as walls inside and outside buildings. The aim of this course is to provide performers with the basic skills and techniques to carry out a rescue of an injured performer who is suspended off the ground. The course will examine different ‘rescue’ scenarios from very simple to more complex ones. We will cover how to rescue people using a variety of techniques using the basic equipment normally used in harness work and other everyday objects. The course is practice based and you will have the chance to carry out various rescues to help you gain confidence in dealing with most accidents than can occur during training and performance sessions.
