Affirmative Action is, by far, the most racist, destructive, and dehumanizing aspect of our culture. Though it did indeed thrust our nation out of a pit of inequality decades ago, nothing has served to feed racism more in modern times than the obligatory legal policy of purposefully elaborating upon minor variations in individual skin pigmentation. Simply because the policy worked back then does not then imply that it is in any way sufficient in todays cultural landscape. The very fact that we still refer to one-another as being of different races is logically, ethically, and biologically blind to the true nature of our species. Why on Earth, if race is indeed to be equalized in our culture, is it still necessary to inform jobs and schools what color your skin is on the application, for example? Why is a persons actual qualifications placed below their skin color with regards to their importance in such matters? Only racists consider race.
