Afghan Taliban attack NATO base in US army uniform, 6 jets destroyed Afghan Taliban attacked Camp Bastion in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan and destroyed six coalition forces jets using US army uniforms. NATO-led International Security Assistance Force following a statement announced,“15 Taliaban Mujahideens executed a well-coordinated attack against the airfield on Camp Bastion. The Taliban mujahideens, organized into three teams, penetrated at one point of the perimeter fence.” The source further added,“The Taliban Mujahideens appeared to be well equipped, trained and rehearsed.” “Dressed in U.S. Army uniforms and armed with automatic rifles, rocket propelled grenade launchers and suicide vests, they attacked coalition fixed and rotary wing aircraft parked on the flight line, aircraft hangars and other buildings”
