African American Concerned Men Organization Black Awareness This is about the so called slave revolt issue in the 1663. The artcle cameout to bring agttention to a revolt that did not make a change for black slaves, but a change for the European that was considered as the indentured servant, which because of the gathering of the field slaves workers the white field workers then became the overseers that treated the same field slaves that fought beside them less than human beings. So the 1663 revolt was for the benefit as a whole, but it was for the benefit of the few; which was the same as the so called elite that they worked for on the plantation. The movement during this time was the same as it was during the initial stages of the affirmative action when John F. Kennedy 1961 came into play to ensur first to be described to U.S. government policy that applicantys are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin. Then Lyndon B. Johnson was president of the United States signed into law Executive Order 11246 codifying Affiormative Actioon, compelling Federal Contractors to establish written programs. Presidenty Johnson elaborated on the importance of affirmative action to achieve true freedom for the African American.
