After 11 + years Sophie went to sleep for the last time. We gave her to McKenzie on McKenzies 9th birthday. She was very attached to both Bonnie and McKenzie (I was just her cash cow). With a decreasing ability to walk, breath, hear, eat, and a very large tumor, it was time she was made more comfortable. McKenzie spent the day with her, made a paw print of her, and just held her a lot before saying goodbye. My guess is some retail therapy may be requested by McKenzie (good thing she gave that up for Lent :).
