After 14 years, my computer speakers are dying, and there seems to be no replacement in sight. I find it horribly difficult to believe that there have been no advances in 14 years that I can be ok with dropping money on. I spent $14 dollars on that shit, and apparently, even with the massive flood of technology, nobody can match the audio quality. The speakers that would replace them are ~$118. I was under the impression that technology was supposed to get better and cheaper, not worse and more expensive...
