After 20 years I am really truly home with my family for Christmas. Jumping up and down with my sisters in Heathrow arrival hall. Driving home thru sparkly street lights in wintery streets and people with frosted breath and scarves and mittens. Leaping out of car into the longest hug with mum in her garden and feeling my two worlds instantly merge as my kids group hugged their grandma. Theyve suddenly gone from very little family to a massive tribe
