After 22 days, 13 states, 5300 miles, freezing at Mt. Rushmore, going to the Mississippi Jackson Mission Reunion, seeing so many of our wonderful friends and super awesome family in Kansas ( where my grandchildren and Allison and Joey live), Idaho, Utah and New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. The most wonderful things was getting to see Stephanies children and spend time with them and our bonus grandchildren as well as Rob and Ann. We put some beautiful flowers on our precious daughters grave. We got to see Ashlan and Alex. I had a ball hitting all the Deseret mIndustries I could..... so fun! We finished our trip at Vidor, Texas watching 3 of our grandchildren in the Homecoming Parade, seeing 2 perform. Then tonight was the Homecoming Football Game. In Texas, football is a religion and its like church... Everybody goes. The half time show was better than most any Rose Bowl I have ever seen! It was amazing! Kennedy took part in the half time, lights were out and they ( the band and the dancers ) marched and made figures in the dark with colored lights on their shoes and hands. I have never been so amazed at a school. The football field was nicer than any Jr. College I have ever seen. It was also wonderful to be with our grandchildren and Wade and Samantha. Now it is 2:00 am, 40 miles from home, no sleep tonight...I have commitments early in the morning. No its time to hit the dry wall putty again! Projected completion date for remodeling..... April 2036...just stating facts. L
