After 26 days I was able to hold my sweet Savannah today. I cant even begin to explain my feelings of joy; I can hardly breathe. Hallelujah!! Although her chest tube didnt come out, I am so grateful that I was still able to hold her today. The incredible nurses at UCSF are my angels! 😇 Also, to add to this glorious moment, she may be extubated tomorrow! With her breathing tube out, I will possibly hear her cry, however faint, in the next 24-48 hours! Miracles!! Miracles!! If doctors feel shes ready tomorrow, shell be coming off the conventional vent and progressing to CPAP. Our little warrior is getting stronger every day! Thank you for all your prayers, light, and love! 🙏💙💚💜❤️
