After 6 weeks from my crash, today I went back to the scene of the accident. I did some reflecting, praying, and searching for items. Mostly, I was just amazed at the scene and overwhelmingly thankful. Heres some fun facts: 1. I skipped 351 yards down that highway. Thats a lot of concrete on the flesh. 2. I narrowly missed hitting the concrete bridge embankment by less than 8 feet from my head. 3. The concrete seems to have healed quite remarkably from that day. I dont even see any scars, busted concrete, or bruising. Im jealous. 4. I found several personal items strewn over the last 100 yards of the sight. A CD, which was broken in half, a bottle of benadryl, also busted open, my chap stick was missing its lid (I told him to wear his helmet), and my RX sunglasses/goggles, which only had one lens left. I was honestly overwhelmed while at the sight. It remains a mysterious miracle. The LORD knows the number of your days. Trust Him with your life.
