After Campus i applied for a job at Stan chartered Bank,we were called for Interviews.we sat for a paper as an interview,it had a lot of calculations. After they said they will get back to us which actually they did through a text message. As usual i was not surprised for it was a fail 30%. But something told me to go back to the bank and explain to them that i may have failed the test but i can still do sales for the Bank, when i reached there i talked to the receptionist who told me that she could not do much as no one can help. When i turned i saw one of the ladies who had interviewed us. She told me to follow her to the office, her office had cubicle so they were like 6 other ladies in there.I wanted to turn back but i went ahead and tried to explain but in vain.she told me that they could do nothing about it. I walked out of that Office very disappointed, when i reached out i realized i had left my key on the ladies desk so i rushed back up stairs. When i was about to knock the door,i heard them talking so loud and laughing,i heard one saying with 30% who can put you in their bank unless if the bank just wants to make losses the other friends laughed even louder. since it was just a key for a padlock,i decided to leave it there. I had never felt that bad in my whole life,i cant deny the fact that i cried on the way home.I walked from town via Buganda rd through YMCA to Kamonkya and continued to Kisassi. WHEN I REACHED HOME I PRAYED SO HARD TO BE A BETTER PERSON IN FUTURE. Yesterday i saw the same lady in ntinda sloping down towards kisasi sweating on the road walking with 3 kids whom i presume were her kids, they looked very tired.i parked and asked if i could give her a lift, without hesitation she with the kids got in the car. she explained that taxis to kisasi take long to get full thus her walking. I did not even remind her anything about the past. LESSON. NEVER GIVE UP ON A PRAYER AND IF YOU ARE WELL OFF THEN NEVER LOOK DOWN ON SOMEONE NO MATTER HOW STUPID,BROKE OR WHAT EVER BAD SITUATION THEY ARE IN. By Bwaku
