After ChelseaTV seemed cut the caller off after his rant,Pat Nevin did his best to try and defend Jose Mourinho’s selections against Basel. Nevin pointed out that Chelsea’s team was virtually unchanged from the side that dismantled West Ham so convincingly last weekend, and the Special One had sound reasoning not to change a winning team. Moreover, on Juan Mata, Nevin was resolute that Mourinho has no personal agenda against the Spaniard, and as soon as an opening comes up in the starting XI, Mata will get his chance to shine.
