After I finally got the chance to sit and watch all of the other Nfc West games I got a good view of what went right and what went wrong. Here is my analysis for each teams game/current state. Feel free to chime in and tell me just how wrong I am! Seahawks: Some of the Hawks admins and myself were talking and it was obvious to us that the Hawks were not playing Seahawks football. I mean, Lynch needs to be the focal point of that offense at all times. The Seahawks will be fine, and they lost at the perfect time. Now they can realize that they shouldnt deviate what what won them a championship last season. Anyone thinking they got exposed knows nothing about football. Next week against Denver is going to be pivotal. Cardinals: The Cardinals are 2-0 and leading the division, so lets give credit where credit is due. Really, really solid team. They are definitely in contention for not only the playoffs but the division. They won against the lowly Giants, but with their backup quarterback and starting running back running injured. The only issue I see with the Cardinals is their inability to defend opposing tight ends. Still, their defense is elite and the offense is doing really good as well. 49ers: The 49ers are a really mixed bag. I was sure their offense was going to be really solid coming into the season and their defense was going to struggle a bit. I was wrong.... the offense just imploded and the defense was still playing really well. Im sorry 49er fans, but I am still not sold on Kaepernick. The guy is a hell of an athlete but I am just not sold on him as a QB. Still, some awesome running backs and defense will have them in every game. Im sure even you 9er fans can agree Kaepernick lost you that game. Rams: Man oh man, my Rams won! They played good enough to beat a bad team. I loved what I saw from Austin Davis, fired up on the sideline. Still, the Rams secondary is seriously suspect and the offensive play calling can be a joke. There is a lot of talent on the Rams roster right now, and if they can get a steady quarterback situation they would contend. Until then, prepare for a roller coaster season Rams fans.
