After Occupy Syria collapsed in most of Syria due to the Syrian Civil War, a confederation of Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Arameans, Turkmen, Armenians and Chechensin in Northern Syria organized their own resistance to ISIS and the state. --- A member of the Kurdish womens movement speaking of the idea of Stateless Democratic Confederalism, of the Stateless State, of the limitations and issues involved in a nation seeking statehood, and of an incredible alternative. Dilar Dirik is an activist of the Kurdish Women’s Movement and a PhD candidate in the Sociology Department of the University of Cambridge.
