After a 13 hour flight, baggage claim, customs and getting to downtown Auckland, there was a 7 hour gap before we could check in to our hotel. We got brunch, drank beer, watched a soccer match, took photos of horses and hills an hour south of the city, and visited 5 neighborhoods to get a feel for where we want to live. I am now showered, wearing jammies, watching a rugby game and house-hunting online. What a day! Cant wait to start work tomorrow morning!!!!
