After a day of R&R, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who joined me on my 2nd annual trek to the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival. Yes, we attend these festivals to try some outstanding rare libations, but this trip is more about the experiences and memories created along the way. To my partners in crime for the entire trip, Keith and Dennis, thanks for not throwing me out of the RV during the 4 day trip and also Gidi, Bryan, Bret, Pete, Shad, and George for joining us along our trek. To my family, Ted, Minnie, Matthew, Sherry, Robin, Adam, and Alex, thank you for opening your homes to a bunch of strangers and making them feel not only welcome, but joining in on some of our shenanigans. To my old friends from high schools, Rene, Brice, and David thank you for taking the time out of your days to reminisce about the memories while creating new ones.To those in the industry who have become my friends, Greg, Jeffers, Jim, and John Paul, thank you for always going above and beyond to these experiences extraordinary. Was great running into Chris, Samantha, Rob, Charlie, Steven and Zach (and everyone else I may have forgot to tag) throughout the weekend as a reminder of how small the world really is when you can see familiar faces 600 miles from home. Last but not least, thank you to my beautiful wife, Amanda, who holds down the fort with our 2 children (fresh on summer vacation) so I can go on these crazy beercations. You all have filled my head with awesome memories that I wont soon forget and I look forward to next years trek for round 3 and even more experiences to fill the memory banks!
