After a day of sunny skies, raining again today. Sun is still bright. Remembering the old jingle...."kaatum mazhayum kaadanu minnukettu, veyilum mazhayum vedante kalyanam" Last Sunday, coming back from Kochi, tried to pass through AC road. But, half way, the road was flooded with 3ff or more. It was a good scene. Daring people tried to cross the water in their cars and auto rickshaws. Some escaped - with higher engine clearances. Many got stuck in the middle. Local people were helping them by pushing the motors across whose engines got stopped. It seemed like a bike kick-starting competition, with young men trying to re-start their soaked bike engines. Live fresh water fish were available. Mushi, Varaal, Vaala, Karimeen, Aattu Konju......! I dare not to drive my Santro like a boat. So went all the way back to Alappuzha to highway back home.
