After a dozen years or so, I was forced to switch browsers today. I consider myself fairly comfortable around computers. Pcs anyways. For instance, following instructions that require one to go in and change things from the start menu at the administrative level has never really been that much of a challenge, but after numerous attempts, I just couldnt get Google Chrome to update on my pc. I use a fairly powerful desktop pc because of all the photo editing I do. Over the last few months, after a couple of halfhearted attempts on my part at completing Chromes suggested work around for the upgrade, I came to the very real point where the old version of Chrome wasnt supported many online programs anymore. And today, after a more serious endeavor at the task... without success, its goodby Chrome, hello Firefox. Firefox to my surprise is as easy to navigate as Chrome was and in many ways it is an improvement. At least on my pc, the graphics and fonts are definitely easier to see and read for one. It just seems snappier. Then again I have been using an unsupported version of Chrome for the last few months.
