After a few days on the beach, we headed back to the Central Highlands to visit Dalat where we experienced the coldest temps weve felt since arriving in Asia last Sept (approx. 55 degrees F). We finished off our Vietnam trip in Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon) with a day trip on the Mekong Delta. Wonderful two weeks in Vietnam (one of the most beautiful countries Ive ever visited with some of the best food and nicest people but very sad to see the still lasting effects from the American War) but now were ready to see what the Philippines is all about, starting tonite!
