After a full day of training amazing humans, its time to come home and train the pups. Its been a new challenge to reteach commands so they not only respond to the command but make sure they do so only if their name is called, it gives so much more control. Bowzer is doing really good picking up all basic commands. After watching Cesar Milan reruns this guy is amazing. I agree whole heartedly that it is all about the energy that you give off and how a dog will respond. Mornings that I am rushed and stressed walking Bear he is pulling on his leash, anxious around other dogs and not himself. When I am relaxed and calm he is near perfect. Such a good reminder to practise keeping control of your emotions, not only is it better for your dog, it is better for you in all aspects of life.
