After a lengthy intensive to fire up intuition, it was like tumblers falling into place...and I knew what my contribution to the world of Kabbalah might be. Once Wells agreed to collaborate with me, the work began. I knew where we should begin, with the ten sephiroth of the Tree of Life. I planted the seeds and waited for inspiration to flow. It came all of a piece while walking my dogs in the morning. Talking and then singing into my digital recorder, I was given the mantras for the chants. Then I was given the melodies. Given is the right word. I did not make these up. To the degree that I am able to be a clear conduit for the descent of divine Fire, they flowed down into me. Honestly, sometimes the words and certainly the melodies seemed very foreign to me, not what I would create, but I did my best to stay out of the way, to not edit or critique, but simply to let it flow and to be a faithful scribe to what was happening.
