After a long day in Albuquerque on Wednesday, Dominic was evaluated by 5 different doctors and was officially labeled as Developmentally Delayed. Ive already come to terms with this, but to hear all the doctors actually say it out loud and put it in writing, it hits the heart. He is a happy little man and in my eyes, he is perfect, however, he is at the mental stage of a 1 year old in most areas. The doctors made it very clear that no one is to blame, but i cant help but wonder if i could have done something different. Im very blessed that we have an amazing support system surrounding us and i know with hard work, dedication, and patience, I will be able to get Dominic where he needs to be to succeed in life.
