After a long wait... VISA Approved for MWSU (Missouri Western State University) Was bit nervous, stammered, though I didnt show it on my face... I went in a different style to the Consulate with T-shirt, Jeans and Casual Shoe.. Was the only one to wear T-Shirt in the entire Consulate.. I do not understand people say to go in formals to impress VO.. I didnt want to impress him, I went to show How confident I am and I was.. I didnt want to be a copycat of others.. Went in a unique style.. All were looking at me weirdly, even though I didnt care.. School: MWSU Location: Hyderabad GRE: NO GMAT: YES, but very low profile IELTS: 6.0 BTECH: 55% Passed out: 2009 Exp: 4.5 yrs as a Soft Developer.. Slot: 8:00 AM My token number displayed and stood in a Queue.. VO was a male, quite good looks, was approving VISAs like anything.. VO asked me to come forward and asked me to scan my fingers on the scanning machine.. VO: Are you SK? ME: Yes Sir! VO: Fortunately, he looked at my passport and found my B2 Visa page and asked, did you visit United States before? ME: Yes.. In the last November.. VO: On what purpose? ME: Tourism.. Scanned my passport and throwed it in the Basket.. and started asking questions.. VO: Which univ your heading to? ME: MWSU (said with full abbreviation) VO: Which program you have applied for? ME: ITM (Information Technology Management) VO: What is it about? ME: We will be learning about Management subjects and Technical subjects in this program. VO: Do you have any experience? ME: Yes Sir! I have 4.5 yrs of exp as a Soft Developer worked for XYZ Company in Mumbai.. VO: Then why did you come here? ME: Sir! Ive born and brought up here and my native is Hyderabad! VO: Okie.. What are your parents? ME: My Dad is a business man having savings of 30 Laks and we have 2 Crores of property.. VO: Thats nice.. VO: What is your undergradute percentage? ME: 55% VO: What is your GRE? ME: Sir.. I didnt take GRE, I took GMAT VO: What is the score? ME: I was trying to take out the score card, he said let it be.. Just tell the score.. I bluffed him to believe me.. hehe.. He was trapped.. and told my score.. Though I didnt get good score.. VO: Is it a good or bad score? ME: Its very good score VO: You may leave now.. Your visa is approved.. ME: Thankyou Sir! The length of the interview was just 40 seconds.. Was out with smiling face.. Again, Everyone were looking at me weird because of casual dress and casual looks thinking that I might have got reject.. Whatever!! Im happy with my Interview and very excited to visit US again.. Ready to take the challenges in US..! All the BEST for all the Applicants who are heading for the Interview.. Dress code and Dress sense doesnt impress VO, just your confident answers impresses him..!!
