After a long week at Anchor, we find out Saturday they want their concessions & well be voting on them Thursday. There are people saying if they dont get their concessions they will not open up after the July shut-down. Scare tactics, they wouldnt be paying MPW to clean the furnace room if they wasnt planning on opening up**** They want us to give concessions without guarantees of the future of the plant. They havent told us what they are giving up to see the plant survive. The International said no to concessions, after looking at their books, so I think this is a quick way to get more money in their pockets before they shut down in August. If people agreed to these concessions, our Unions will lose all power to represent us in the future as the company will just say take it or leave it, Well just close the doors as it has worked this time. Stand strong & make them HONOR OUR CONTRACT***********
