After a phonecall to the BSJA today I am astounded to hear that you can buy back your qualifications. Unfortunately, a horse I ride BSJA for an owner ended up having her second round qualifications taken from her due to the owner of the horses registration lapsing and therefore meaning the horse getting a disciplinary mark against her 95 and 1.05 amateur qualifications. I didnt understand why this showed up on her records so a call was immediately made today to set it straight, she then offered me the option at £250 per class to buy my qualifications back (£500 altogether). Is it just me who thinks this is ridiculous?!!
