After a successful and fun Saturday competing at the Murchison rally sprint, Sunday didnt end as well on the Tarmac. As you can see from my in-car I took an obvious gap at the sweeper while battling with Bruce Street. But unfortunately the oversteer issue I had during qualifying (I spun twice) bit me and my car snapped back before I could control it, straight into Bruces left front. Things happen a whole lot quicker on tarmac than gravel. Gravel is a lot more forgiving! Glad to hear Bruce was able to continue but our day was over as I bent the right front strut and as we havent had time to accrue spares yet, couldnt sort. Apologies to Bruce, but please see that I didnt hit you deliberately. The gap was there and I took it. I feel stink about it though. See you at the February meeting.
