After a wonderfully connected and transformative dance this morning, I told us in Circle about research whose intent (if not superficial technical goals) explains why our nervous systems are so happy with connected, embodied dance, and so unhappy with technology and modern life. But precisely because its so coolly scientific, this work might ultimately help persuade not only current allies but potential new ones why what were doing matters so much and feels so good.
