After all I still pay my greatest respect to Kenny G as a musician. --------------------- START OF BULLSXXT --------------------- Since 1992 my family bought his new album Breathless and I became his fan. Over the years I try to purchase and collect every single album or compilation of him until I found that the tracks in compilations are keeping on repeating. However I still purchased Heart and Soul in 2010, his latest album available and will definitely continue for his future releases. His music influences me, he enlightens my path of musical studies and performing vision. I still have his CD(s) ripped as MP3 on my mobile till today. His music influences my family, my mums ringtone is Forever in love and my housemaids Silhouette for ages. His music influences every part of the world and every single malls, lounges, bars, clubs are stuffing him and his teams bank account with enormous cash royalty. His signature sax tone stands him out from every other saxophonist on the earth, not just the tone but also how he improvises, how he controls the instrument and the atmosphere... etc. which makes him unique. He is the current Guinness record holder in playing the longest note on Saxophone. And tons more to mention... His achievements in the contemporary musical jargon will hardly be overwhelmed by others for decades. --------------------- END OF BULLSXXT --------------------- But to be frank I feel way disappointed on how he react to the PRC spokeswoman. Although no longer a student for years, Im still a elite participant in the umbrella movement and I was so glad to have one of my greatest musical idol in my life standing on our side. I wish I was in Admiralty more than winning a jackpot when he appears and shows his support. My feelings are so complicated after his declaration, it drives my feeling from HEAVEN to HELL. At the same time, the PRC spokeswoman brought his reputation from HEAVEN to HELL. PEACE, as Kenny EMPHASIZE. PEACE plus more, we PERSIST. Kenny, I hope you can spend a couple of minutes to make a review on this 26 year-old MV. Recap what the songs name suggests and what the MV wanna express. Though not exactly the same situation, it somehow describes what are the Hongkongeers fighting for. You may have your own (commercial) concern but please reconsider how you should act in this dilemma, and also how serious your declaration hurts we Hongkongeers, and me as your fan as well.
