After all, Rome wasnt built in a day, but with hype comes expectations — both internally and externally — and more than a few doubters and detractors, who are quietly hoping that the building blocks put in place crumble like the pillars of Rome. Let the doubters doubt! Most of the older boys on the team have already endured 2-3 years of negativity FROM THEIR OWN COMMUNITY and it hasnt stopped them yet. If youre not a believer, so be it. If you have not been around these boys, if you have not been to a practice or a game, if you havent witnessed their heart-break, if you havent shared in the joy of the small accomplishments, if you have not volunteered your time then your opinion doesnt matter to the FOOTBALL community. Keep talking....but being a positive, supportive person is a far better choice!
