After all the test & waiting & praying...i have mixed emotions to finally be able to say My Mother has officially be placed on the National Foundation for Transplants website. This website will be the location where those who wish to help donate funds toward her Kidney Transplant can safely & easily help in her fight to WIN this battle! I never thought growing up that my moms life would hang in the balance in such a way. Seeing her name & her picture & her whole profile up on this site is a very hard & sobering experience. The journey has only just begun & i know this is an uphill battle but if anyone is capable of winning the war against this disease it is the amazingly Strong woman on this site... knows as Dixie Dorsey but who i simple call Mom.
