After almost three weeks, Elizabeth and I ventured out today!!! I took her to get a bath and shopped at HyVee for WW fruits and veggies for next week... The seedless melons that were $3.49 last week are on sale for $4.49 this week... I passed that bargain up!!! I went to see And So It Goes, the Michael Douglas/Diane Keaton romantic comedy... Its getting terrible reviews, but it filled up the theatre I was in... I think when the demographics focus on people of a certain age, then maybe they should be critiqued by people of a certain age... I will admit I did not see anyone under the age of 60...LOL...however, those of us who did attend enjoyed it immensely!!! Of course, it is PREDICTABLE from start to finish, but it was wonderful entertainment to say the least!!! I thought about it, through tears, on the way home and decided that seven years ago, when my life made a 180 degree turn to the best life I could ever hope to ask for, I should have learned how to sing The Shadow of Your Smile and waited for the love-you-to-the-moon-and-back guy to come rescue me and we could retire to his multi-million dollar estate to live happily ever after!!! (Sigh...)
