After an absolutely crazy and chaotic 3 weeks, today I am thankful for the opportunity to clean my house, do the dishes & laundry, and vacuum my floors. I have not spent time with my kids in about 3 weeks so its nice just to be home even if we are once again forced into a new normal. Thank you to my fabulous mother-in-law Deena for taking over our household, learning how to do trach & feeding tube care for Brynlee, keeping Bryson and Bella fed and happy so that I was able to spend the last few days of my dads life at his side without worrying about my children at home. You have been such a blessing in my life and I am grateful beyond words. Brynlee is continuing to do well. Justin is gone to buy a new water heater and life is beginning to quiet down. I know the hard part is still ahead as things settle and I begin to truly grieve because I have not had time to mourn the loss of my daddy just yet. Grief is a process and for me, it began back in May and will last the rest of my life until I see my dad again.
