After an injection and new round of meds Im feeling better tonight. Gatorade, and lots of rest helped. Thank you to my friends and family for the wishes of getting better. I had a flu shot this past year, but the vaccine is not effective on some types of flu. The meds helped with the nausea and congestion. Although I am feeling better, it may take several more days before Im back too 100% from what my Physician tells me, and it may even be a couple more weeks. The first sign is extreme congestion, and an overwhelming feeling of being lethargic, followed by aches in the joints and muscles. My body aches were similar to the same aches I had the next morning after playing in a football game where I go to wake up, and then trying to move around is a chore, and next to impossible. For now its more Gatorade and more Gatorade along with rest.
