After asking a guest audience what their views on the referendum are, Hugh Edwards turns to his co-host and says: its interesting again isnt it, you know, from all of them a sense of real engagement, and again, then a really sophisticated take on politics. Its a great thing to see, isnt it? I have never heard such patronising shit in all my life. These people are citizens just as the hosts are citizens. I am disgusted at the way the BBC treats people as though they are commoners whose views require assessment.
