After being in the Merge Summit conference all day, i was exhausted and really had no interest in attending the conference concert. Yet, I found myself lingering, and Im glad I did. If Id left I would have missed getting to see my friend Lawrence LB Breaux. Yall know LBs work as drummer for Robin Thicke as well as a great songwriter. But I know LB, not as a drummer, but as my friend who spent a whole day, in the hot sun, running up and down a football field, hauling equipment around, holding lights, working audio, making me laugh, fussing, pretending to be a football player and serving as an extra when I was shooting my sizzle reel. All because he wanted to help me. One thing that makes me really happy is when I get to see my talented friends operating in their gifts, and LB, you made me smile tonight as i watched you worship Christ with your gifts.
