After completing the Vote Compass - votecompass/, this does concern me somewhat - LNP cut the cycling budget to $0 in the last few years, and only restored it to a pitiful $2.5M in this years budget (for reference, most inner local governments spend that). I dont consider $70M as an add on to EWlink to be significantly increasing funding as its only for ONE off road bike path. Especially considering the State Government revenue from the congestion levy in 2013 was $48M, 2014 $98M, and from 2015 $122M, I would not say that LNP invest in cycling infrastructure, or have any REAL plans to increase spending. I see this as a bit of a flaw in the vote compass.
