After days of diligent prayer and Christian counsel, the decision has been made! The Lord has answered my prayers, leading me down the path of His will for me. I have rescinded my acceptance to Duke University, effective today. I am being led to stay as a bedside Clinical Nurse, and not to pursue a Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate degree at this time. My calling is to stay at the bedside of my patients and be at the forefront of patient care. My love has always been at the front lines, being there beside my patients at all times! This is Gods will for me right now! To be a Nurse, is truly one of the greatest gifts and blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me. I am so very grateful to our Lord! In reality we know very little what is best for us, however, what wonderful assurance we have that the God of the universe does know what is best for us! Not only does God know, but He does what is best for us; He goes before us, and is with us, always! I am not the author of my life, but merely a lamb that must follow the Great Shepherd with obedience and praise. In doing, my cup will overflow with blessings! By following Jesus Christ I will be led in paths of righteousness! I am excited and extremely happy with the Lords decision for me, knowing that good things are to come! Praise Be To God! Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
