After five months knotted like macramé, Im happy to announce... today I signed my first television deal with DHX Media. It’s a unique production and series development deal that will bring the live stage version of Ginger Nation to an exciting new audience. This could not have happened without the willingness, excitement and expertise of ‘Team Ginger’: Sohrab Merchant (literary) & Michael White (talent) from The Characters Talent Agency, and Hilary Goldstein & Team from Buchli Goldstein LLP. Thanks to everyone who exercised their own patience and tolerance as I maneuvered this huge learning curve (especially Matthew Hines who lived with a one-man version of Les Misérables all winter). High-fives to: Jonathan Soja, Larissa Mair, Jeremy Katz, Rick Mercer, Teresa Pavlinek, Sharron Matthews & George Masswohl (who kicked my ass in the right direction when I needed it the most), Oliver Jaakkola, Jonathan C.
