After getting lost in central station in toronto at 10pm at night, - TopicsExpress

After getting lost in central station in toronto at 10pm at night, waiting 4 hours for the nuerosurgeon and a 7 HOUR ride home (from my dad and step mom - thank you so much guys I know that was a waaay longer day than expected), we are home!! The resident came in first and scared the crap out of me and made me cry saying that he looked at chevys brain images from the morning and told me all that *could* happen with this much pressure and that something needed to be done. So I cried the whole time I fed Chevy while waiting for Dr. Drake who came in and brought another Dr with him and he smiled as he played with Chevy and said, I just dont know what to do with you little man! as Chevy smiled back at him. He says he is totally baffled. Chevy has no symptoms but the pressure is too much. He says its like hes absorbing 99% of the fluid the way he should, but the other 1% is a mystery but enough to cause a real problem. He has ordered an mri after Christmas to take a better look (unless anything changes before then). The mri will help to determine the problem and will help to decide what procedure would be most effective. I did ask if there is any chance at all that it could level out itself as he grows and he said yes, there is a tiny chance it could. Im going to pray twice as much now, knowing that. It is stressful hearing different answers depending which dr you talk to and in which city. But I am grateful for every day that Chevy is home with nothing medical to deal with! Thanks guys for your thoughts and prayers. Of course with all the waiting around I had too much time and not many options to occupy Chevy so we had fun snapping a few pics of the sweet, happy boy! :)
