After giving 10 interviews, clearing 9 written exams, passing - TopicsExpress

After giving 10 interviews, clearing 9 written exams, passing through 7 GDs, rejected from 9 companies, finally got through in 11th. Placed at Grail Research. Nothing like ‘achievement’ in this. But there have been some more important achievements in last few days. And these are: 1. Learnt to face rejections. That too in bulk. “Crawl. Make your way to final. Rejected in final. Crawl. Make your…….” (9-10 times). At least coat-pant jo silwaya hai uska to paisa vasool kro. 2. Learnt to say NO to GIVE UP. You are too awesome to fail in the long run. “One fine day, I will make it impossible for them to reject me.” 3. Prepare hard. Prepare always. Leave no scope to give excuses to yourself later. There is nothing like LUCK. All those fancy stories were cooked up. You alone are responsible for failures and you alone for success too. 4. Didn’t surrender to this blind trend of ‘LEARNING CODING’. “Jaao nahi aati coding, karlo jo karna hai. Mera placement meri skills se hi hoga. Udhaar ki skills se nahin.” (Juniors jyaada josh me mat aa jana ye padh ke, seekh lena saalo coding :P) 5. Sense of Humour is the biggest thing you need to have to face the failures. It brings together the faith, the patience, the balls, the friends, the family and everything else you read in textbooks. Persons to thank? My mother - for larger achievement (1-5). Friends, myself - for smaller achievement (job). #Headed for a larger vision.
