After high school graduation in 1986, yes a long time ago, I attended A travel school. There was this cool rocker chick with BonJovi hair in the class. I never would have imagined that we would be good friends. 28 years later its amazing to look back over everything we have been through. We were room mates, and good ones. Vacationed together. In each others weddings. I was in the room for 3 of her 4 childrens births. Our hearts are connected in a way that is rare. We found out a few weeks ago that she has breast cancer. My Lisa Jewell is having surgery tomorrow morning. It breaks my heart to watch this process. I do know that with Gods grace she will come out well on the other side. We just have to get there. Through surgery. Through Kemo. Just have to get through, and she will. We will. Im asking for your prayers for Lisa, tomorrow and beyond. I know you will deliver my friends, and I thank you.
