After just watching The Shining for the third time, I became aware of the fact that I had never questioned any part of the film. Why? you may ask yourself.. Was it because I had such a taste for this particular film, that I almost, compelled myself to not let it force itself into my brain? Or was it because I was so enveloped in the images before my eyes, that I couldnt possibly question the questionably unquestionable, Stanley Kubrick? On this particular occasion. I questioned it all. If you can imagine every corner and crease of your cerebrum erupting in one magnificent ensemble of percussion, you can truly understand the depth of this mere thought. Shall I go any further?. Stanley Kubrick has a talent for creating the ultimate mind blow, each and every time. And has created some of the most influential films in our history, that make you ask these questions. A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, and Lolita are my personal favourites, but they surely do not show the extent of his genius. As Frank Ocean sang Im feeling like Stanley Kubrick, this is some visionary shit. So, I found a page that may answer some of your many questions.
