After last night its time to appreciate the people who do so much for the local music scene in the North East as i treat the whole North East as my local scene. First up MAKE A SCENE FESTIVAL and all the guys who are associated with it such a great bunch of guys putting on some insane shows/all dayers in Middlesbrough, have enjoyed some of their shows a bit too much, inspired me to start putting on shows too. The Upbrawl Promotions lads Connor Dixon and Darren Anthony Walton they keep killing it up the Newcastle/Sunderland area putting on amazing shows that just keep blowing minds i cant make it to every single one but the ones i have made it to have been absolutely class, hardworking dudes who deserve your support. The lads who continually support the local shows too out of PressGang, Preserver, Eaten Alive, DEATHEATER, Hellbound and the list goes on see these dudes at local shows supporting all the time its so sick to see and know we have a tight knit bunch of people. Massive shout out to the guy that puts shows on with me Reuben Brown couldnt do it without him always thinking on the same wavelength too. Finally this is more a personal appreciation the last one Jessika Rollinson who helps me a ridiculous amount by getting me to shows, helping me out with my shows and sometimes fronts and helps with the money absolute life saver. Just wanted to give people their due who i see making the local music scene better. Keep it up lads.
