After last years Hurricanes team went 0-4 on the season against the Springfield Indians, the Cobras will face them twice in their last five games of the season, their only two meetings for the 2013 season. The Cobras have been backed into a corner, realizing that every game is now a must win to keep their hopes of a playoff birth alive, and they are ready I strike. Tonight, Nate Luscombe will take the mound at Van Horn for his first start in this league since 2011, having pitched well in two relief appearances earlier in the season. The Cobras deep pitching is ready to roll into the weekend with Mike Menard taking on Chicopee for the first time in two years on Friday, and the rotation (most likely) rounding at as Jimmy Drummond against the Pirates Saturday, Tyler Moccio against Paper City Sunday morning, and Anthony Santinello against the Indians Sunday afternoon. Ready out of the bullpen to round out the season will be Drew Febus, Steve Johnson, Jimmy Rondinelli and depending on scheduling conflicts, Mark Guidetti. The Cobras are ready for a week of baseball against some of the best the league has to offer, and ready to make a final push for the 2013 playoffs.
